At Happy Baby Day Nursery, we work hard to stay informed of the most up to date teaching methods and practices.

We are constantly reviewing our curriculum, but maintain basic methods that we believe nurture children's learning. Our methods are exemplified in the activities we participate in with the children in our care.

Our activities are in the fields of:

• Art and visual appreciation;
  

• Science and analysis;
  

• Exercise and co-ordination through outdoor play;
  

• Music and listening skills; and
  

• Sensory-related activities (learning through smell, sight or touch).
  

We encourage children to learn by doing things themselves, encourage them to show their enthusiasm and provide them with tools to explore with. The nursery rooms are filled with toys, games, musical instruments and books.

Each month you will receive an evaluation of your child's progress so that you are kept informed of how they are progressing and how they are interacting with the people around them.
